For women over 60, muscle strength matters

You don’t need to look like a bodybuilder, but for healthy aging, maintaining muscle strength is likely just as important as getting enough aerobic activity, according to the findings of a University at Buffalo-led study of more than 5,000 women between the ages of 63 and 99. The work is published in JAMA Network Open.
